This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Investment Banking business at JPMorganChase. The EMEA Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is responsible for origination and execution of public and private M&A and capital markets transactions. We maintain pivotal relationships with prominent clients in the EMEA financial services industry, aiding them through M&A and capital markets transactions in delivering on their corporate strategy and structure.

As an Analyst within the FIG Central Eastern Europe and Greece team, you will play a crucial role in the origination and execution of investment banking mandates across all major product areas. You will be tasked with building detailed financial models, evaluating market data, and preparing client presentations. Under the guidance of senior team leaders, you will manage client transactions from pitch to close, prepare detailed valuation analyses, models and presentations, and devise innovative and creative solutions to complex, real-world business challenges.

Our robust continuing education program will further enhance your ongoing development and career progression. You will play a key role in the coverage of the FIG market across various sectors - banks, asset management, insurance, Fintech etc. You will also be expected to keep abreast of key market and regulatory developments and establish knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics.

Key skills required for this role include:

  • Proficient financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Solid communication and project management skills
  • In-depth understanding of investment banking products
  • Excellent technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Prior experience in investment banking or financial services
  • Candidates with any Central Eastern European or Greek languages

This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence and approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
