PCB Design Engineer Job Description

Platform Recruitment is seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our client's engineering team in Milton Keynes. As a renowned company in their niche, they provide tracking and simulation products for various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop analogue and digital electronics, as well as PCB layouts.
  2. Collaborate with team members to determine PCB configurations, outlines, interfaces, and interconnects.
  3. Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including PCB fabrication and assembly drawings.
  4. Conduct hardware design verification, troubleshooting, and debugging, as well as engage in product EMC testing.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  2. 4+ years of experience in PCB design in a commercial environment.
  3. Proficiency in PCB design tools like Altium or Cadence.
  4. Experience in both analogue and digital design and layout.

Bonus Skills:

  1. Knowledge of FPGA design.
  2. Knowledge of GNSS or automotive industry applications.
