About the Position:

WeAreTechWomen is looking for an experienced Medium Term Commodities Expert to drive excellence in data and insights for the company's standing in the industry.

This thematic but also data-centric role requires taking a holistic and creative approach to energy market analysis. As a Medium Term Commodities Expert, you will be responsible for research, modeling, analysis, and outlook on global oil markets for the medium term future time horizon.

The successful candidate will have a positive impact on the company's success by analyzing and forecasting the direction of oil markets, focusing specifically on supply and demand trends in the medium term (five-year) time frame.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or MA degree in economics, engineering, business administration, or similar field.
  • Minimum six years of work experience for BA degree (four years for MA degree) in oil demand analysis, macroeconomic/energy demand research, oil refining, oil industry consulting, investment banking, equity research or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in oral and written English.
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and other database tools.
  • Excellent at data mining and data visualization with available software programs.
  • Experience covering global oil markets.
  • Experience in modeling and programming languages.
