About the Role

Perrigo Company is dedicated to making lives better by bringing Quality, Affordable Self-care products that consumers trust everywhere they are sold. We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Scope of the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various manufacturing and packing machinery, including:

  • Tool changes
  • Line set-up
  • Routine maintenance
  • Breakdowns and line improvements

Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with a recognized Engineering qualification and relevant experience in the manufacturing sector. Ideally, you will have had experience within the pharmaceutical or food processing industries and be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice within this environment. You will have completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems. Experience with computer-controlled process packing equipment is an advantage. You must also be able to show how you have worked and communicated effectively in a multi-shift work team.
