Job Summary:
Esland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care and support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of a safe and nurturing environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
- Collaborate with our therapeutic team to provide trauma-informed care and support, helping our young people to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Esland's values and standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Full driving license issued in the UK.
- Right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
- Aged 21 or above.
