Job Overview:

This Behaviour Support Assistant position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive school environment. You will be working with young people who require additional support, and your contributions will directly impact their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management plans for individual students, working collaboratively with the school's pastoral team.
  • Build strong relationships with students, providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and promoting positive communication among students.
  • Ensure students with additional needs are fully included in all aspects of school life.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges. A proactive and flexible attitude, along with a genuine passion for supporting the development and wellbeing of young people, is essential.

Salary Details:

The estimated salary for this Behaviour Support Assistant position is £19,500 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
