Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children and young people in our residential homes.

About the Role

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to young people in our care
  • Encouraging independence and promoting positive outcomes
  • Participating in weekend activities and outings to enhance the young people's experiences
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the young people
  • Collaborating with the care team to develop and implement care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
  • A valid UK driving license
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
