Working Foreman Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Working Foreman to join our minor works team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directly supervising minor construction projects, including small extensions, internal and external refurbishment works, re-roofs, drainage, civils, and tarmac projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a site team and on-site labour, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Organize and coordinate works according to a programme and construction drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with the Group's quality and safety standards.
  • Direct contact with clients and responsibility for instructing and motivating site teams.
  • Travel to required site locations in the region, utilizing a company vehicle.

Requirements

  • Trade experience, ideally in bricklaying, carpentry, groundworks, and a good understanding of all construction trades and techniques.
  • Ability to manage workload and coordinate works according to a programme.
  • Current SSSTS or SMSTS qualification and other in-date safety training would be an advantage.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel to required site locations.
