Job Description:

Cartrefi Cymru Co is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Care Services Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality support services to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Service Manager to guarantee a safe and supportive environment for service users and colleagues.
  2. Support the Service Manager in maintaining legislative compliance, Cartrefi's policies, and procedures, while upholding quality standards.
  3. Lead and manage the team effectively, monitoring performance, engaging in supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.
  4. Develop, promote, and ensure the delivery of person-centred, outcomes-focused support to service users.
  5. Manage the service in the absence of the Service Manager and report to the Area Manager/on-call manager as necessary.
  6. Undertake support duties according to the needs of service users, working shifts as directed by the rota, including sleep-ins and waking nights when required.
  7. Commit to personal development, attend training sessions when needed, and seek opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Prior experience supporting adults with learning disabilities in a social care setting.
  • A full clean driving license and willingness to travel for meetings and training.
