Academics SEN Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support the learning and personal care needs of a young boy with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to provide personal care with sensitivity, and have patience and resilience in challenging situations.
About the Role- Provide tailored support to the student during lessons and activities.
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the student's dignity and comfort.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual learning plans.
- Help the student develop social skills and independence.
- Communicate effectively with the student, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude.
- Ability to provide personal care with sensitivity and respect.
- Patience and resilience in challenging situations.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or special education (preferred).
- Valid DBS check.
