Science Teacher

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and shaping the future of Science education? We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our thriving school in Barking and Dagenham.

As a Science Teacher at Wayman Learning Trust, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students. You will foster their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities, creating a stimulating and inquiry-based learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Foster a love of learning in students and inspire them to reach their full potential
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that meet the needs of students and the school
  • Assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Contribute to the overall life of the school, including participation in staff meetings and professional development

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong subject knowledge of Science
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for inspiring young minds and shaping the future of Science education
