As a Senior Marine Electronic Engineer at Gardline, you will play a key role in supporting our fleet of vessels. This exciting opportunity will see you working in our workshops in Great Yarmouth and alongside vessels at various ports, providing a chance for travel and exploration.
Your Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
- Assist in the management of workshop operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to departmental deadlines.
- Travel to vessels to oversee maintenance plans, equipment installations, and other technical activities.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a fair and respectful work environment.
- Ensure compliance with Company Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the workshop, information systems, and equipment, reporting any defects or issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant HNC or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in the field.
- Proven expertise in installing sensitive electronic equipment.
- Ability to travel to vessels both in the UK and abroad, with flexibility to respond to changing circumstances.
