Senior Credit & Risk Analyst Job Description

Location: Head Office, Leicester (Hybrid working 1 day a week in the office)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus bonus & benefits

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit & Risk Analyst to join our growing Credit and Risk Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in credit and risk analysis, who is passionate about using data to drive business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex data models to analyze credit and risk data.
  • Produce regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in our current processes and rules through advanced analysis.
  • Build and present reporting and strategy recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a credit and risk role.
  • Outstanding data analysis skills and experience with industry-standard tools.
  • Proven track record of using data to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrable Excel skills and experience with coding platforms such as SQL/SAS/Python.
