About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's Technical Services Department in Pembrokeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for approving engineering designs and providing specialist support for electrical elements within all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approve engineering designs and provide specialist support for electrical elements within all projects.
  • Work with industry standards associated with the electrical discipline.
  • Develop ideas into projects and produce BOD (basis of design) work scopes.
  • Attend external organisation meetings and feedback any changes in legislation.
  • Ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical distribution network for the refinery.
  • Maintain condition reviews for all electrical infrastructure and equipment on site.
  • Manipulate electrical infrastructure modelling software.
  • Provide specialist electrical support to the refinery operations, maintenance and improvement teams.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering and have or be working towards incorporated or chartered engineer status with a relevant engineering institution. Previous experience of working in an electrical engineering or project engineering role would be advantageous.
