Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Greggs bakery store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, including promotions, pricing, and product offerings.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of store appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance.
  • Manage employee performance, provide coaching and training, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with the store team to achieve business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail or bakery management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of bakery operations, including food preparation, presentation, and safety.
