Technical Safety Consultant - Process Safety Expert

We are seeking a skilled Technical Safety Consultant to support our growing team in Northern Europe. The successful candidate will be involved in safety workshop studies, consequence analysis, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting safety workshops and studies (e.g., HAZOPs)
  • Conducting consequence analysis and modeling for process hazards
  • Estimating the frequency of loss of containment of hazardous materials
  • Risk mitigation and cost-benefit analysis
  • Performing reliability calculations using in-house software
  • Contributing to proposals for clients

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering honors degree (Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical or similar). Any experience in HAZOP or risk assessment is advantageous. Familiarity with reliability modeling techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis is also beneficial. A basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation equipment is desirable but not essential.
