Sirona Medical Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children in care to achieve their permanency plans and develop strong networks of support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete statutory duties in coordinating children's plans, ensuring they are individual to the child's needs and aspirational in respect of focus.
- Engage in direct work with allocated children, developing restorative relationships and supporting them to understand their journey.
- Work alongside our Contact Service to promote family time, with parents, siblings, and significant people for the children in our care.
- Support children to develop strong networks of support as they transition towards independent living.
- Contribute to the development and progression of Social Workers within the team.
Requirements:
- Qualification in social work (e.g., DipSW, MSc, CQSW, CSS).
- Registration with the HCPC as a social worker.
- Substantial experience as a qualified social worker.
- Knowledge of Children Social Care and Children Safeguarding.
- ASYE + at least 3 years' experience.
