Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations. This includes:
  • Overseeing structural design and production of design drawings.
  • Guiding junior team members in their work, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Developing strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive project success.
  • Maintaining budget control, including fee proposals and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to business growth initiatives, such as identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.

Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
  • Chartered status with the ICE or IStructE, complemented by relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural design, covering materials like timber, steel, concrete, and masonry, including foundation design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad and other construction drawing software, as well as analytical tools.
  • A proven track record of collaboration and communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Familiarity with Eurocodes and British Standards.
  • Background in site investigations and understanding of the SER certification scheme.
  • Experience working on both new and existing building projects, leveraging skills in Revit and other software.
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
