Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

Pro-Tax is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their market-leading Private Client tax team in Cambridge.

This team focuses on building long-lasting relationships and advising the world's wealthiest and most influential individuals and families, their structures, and their businesses.

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will advise on all aspects of an individual's tax affairs, including the taxation of remuneration from Private Funds, the tax implications of complex investment structures, residency & domicile matters, the taxation of cross-border transactions, and succession and long-term wealth planning.

You will become part of a dynamic and successful team, helping the practice maintain and grow its presence in this market where they already have a great deal of experience and serve some of the top private equity clients in the UK.

The variety and complexity of their clients' affairs mean you will have plenty of development opportunities - both technically and personally - as well as the chance to learn and work with market leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical delivery and project management
  • Client conversations and operational management
  • Exercise commercial judgement and make decisions on how to progress work
  • Prepare high-quality and technically accurate tax technical advice
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the team
  • Coordinate the timely preparation and submission of tax returns
  • Identify opportunities on existing accounts
  • Contribute towards the company's brand by building a network amongst professional advisors and potential clients
Requirements:
  • Experience of advising high net worth individuals, including non-UK domiciled individuals, on their UK tax positions
  • ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent. Support will be available for CTA qualification if not already held
