Role Overview
The Environmental Advisor role at Samworth Brothers Limited is a critical position that requires a strong understanding of environmental policies and practices. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site environmental strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions with senior management to ensure key targets are met.
  • Manage local relationships with the Environment Agency, customers, and local community.
  • Identify new ideas and opportunities to improve risk ratings and cost efficiency while delivering on environmental targets.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
  • Previous environmental experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
