Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist

Smithers MDT Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist to join our Medical Device Testing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the field of physical testing on medical products and devices.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and motivation to the Medical Physical Testing delivery team, ensuring programmes of work are completed safely, on time, on budget, and the team achieves a high level of efficient utilisation.
- Develop and implement effective testing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in pharmacovigilance and medical device testing.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, forensic science, or chemical engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a testing laboratory, preferably following GLP and GMP standards.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
