About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Building/Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for analyzing tender allowances, measuring and valuing works, and administering main contract and subcontract conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of tender allowances and measurement of works
  • Valuation of works, variations, and final accounts
  • Agreement of valuation dates and preparation of interim valuations
  • Administration of main contract and subcontract conditions
  • Subcontract and design procurement
  • Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Submission of cost value reconciliations
  • Preparation of cost to complete and cash management
  • Cash flow and turnover forecasting
  • Provision of standard reports and internal valuations
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience in the construction industry, specifically in design and build projects, and a sound knowledge of JCT and NEC conditions of contract. You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
