The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that their wheelchair equipment is in excellent working condition.

As a Field Service Specialist, you will work from our depots in Birmingham and Leamington Spa, completing initial training in the workshop reconditioning of wheelchair equipment.

This will enable you to gain essential product knowledge and develop the skills required to work efficiently in the field, delivering and collecting equipment while undertaking further training for repairing and servicing wheelchairs.

  • Servicing and repairing Powered & Manual wheelchairs in the field, with the aim of achieving a first-time fix whenever possible.
  • Delivering and collecting wheelchairs to and from service user's homes and NHS departments, always adhering to our Infection Control Policy.
  • Ensuring all paperwork relating to each job is accurately completed, with necessary information regarding parts used and action taken written onto the job card.
  • Observing all regulations covering the driving and use of our Company vehicle on the public highway, and being aware of employee responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act.
  • Maintaining a professional customer service attitude and using discretion when dealing with service users and other agencies.
  • Being responsible for the maintenance and safe keeping of all tools and equipment provided by the Company.
  • Agreeing to undertake all training offered to maintain the skills required for this role.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £27,514 per annum.

We require a Full UK driving licence, successful enhanced DBS check, awareness and understanding of people with disabilities, flexible approach to working conditions, and ability to use a mobile phone to relay photographs.
