Job Details

Job Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our successful teaching assistant team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across the curriculum in either Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 as part of an experienced team of Teaching Assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the educational aims of the school by working closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral and inclusion teams.
  • Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom and in our Hub, nurture provision and Learning Support Area - The Base.
  • Work closely with the school's SENDCo, Teaching Assistants and pastoral teams to secure the best levels of pupil progress and achievement.
  • Support the development of pupils' skills and knowledge through targeted interventions and support.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
