Cardiologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Cardiology department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with cardiovascular disease, with a focus on cardiac imaging and echocardiography.

• Deliver high-quality cardiac imaging services, including stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echo
• Participate in the general cardiology on-call rota as Consultant of the Week, covering CCU and the Cardiology ward
• Support the delivery of general cardiology services, including outpatient clinics
• Develop and deliver a specialist heart valve clinic for Hampshire Hospitals patients
• Take a lead role in helping the service achieve British Society of Echocardiography departmental accreditation within 18 months

• Full GMC Registration
• On the GMC Specialist Register for Cardiology or eligible for entry within six months of attainment of CCT at date of interview
• Higher research MD/PhD or Masters in appropriate areas
