Injection Moulding Setter

As a seasoned Injection Mould Setter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our moulding machines within your section. Your primary responsibility will be to set and optimize the injection moulding process to achieve the best processing conditions, thereby contributing to the timely completion of orders with the correct quality and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Set and optimize the injection moulding process to achieve the best processing conditions.
- Fault find and troubleshoot development and production processes.
- Maintain departmental records and reports.
- Provide support to the tool design function when required.
- Provide support to production when required.
- Identify and arrange for rectification of defective equipment.
- Deputise for the assistant manager in their absence.
- Assist and develop colleagues within the department.
- Ensure the department fully complies with current Health and Safety Regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Carry out any reasonable tasks which fall within your capabilities.
- Extensive manufacturing experience with injection moulding and assembly equipment.
- At least 2+ years of Injection Mould Setting experience.
- Assembly and moulding equipment experience.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Ideally qualified to IMT level 3 or equivalent.
40.25 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 7am to 7pm (Panama Shift - 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 3 off), including a 30-minute lunch break and 4 x 10-minute tea breaks. The hourly rate is £15.55 per hour, plus a 20% shift premium on all hours worked.
