We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Security Officers to join our team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, visitors, and trust property. This will involve performing a wide range of duties related to the Security function within the trust, including security patrols, operating CCTV, responding to code victor calls, assisting the Police with their enquiries, and contributing to the reduction in criminal activity on site.
You will work without supervision and use a high level of initiative in decision making. We believe success lies in the diversity of our employees and are committed to promoting equality, encouraging diversity, and embracing inclusion.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol the site as directed to protect staff, patients, visitors, and trust property.
- Operate CCTV systems to monitor the site and respond to incidents.
- Assist the Police with their enquiries and contribute to the reduction in criminal activity on site.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An understanding of car park systems and knowledge of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
- Knowledge of legislation relating to CCTV, Data protection, and Freedom of Information Act.
- A high level of competency in using Microsoft office, Excel, and database applications.
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service-related environment.
- Experience working in an NHS or public sector organisation.
- CCTV and Access Control - 2 years.
