About the Role

As a Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant at The Works, you'll play a vital role in making this holiday season unforgettable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to inspire reading, learning, creativity, and play.
  • Merchandising: Display and maintain our seasonal stock, ensuring an engaging and inviting store environment.
  • Delivery Management: Receive and process deliveries, accurately pricing and labeling products for the sales floor.
  • Stockroom Management: Maintain a well-organized stockroom, ensuring easy access to products and efficient inventory management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales targets, share knowledge, and provide support during busy periods.

  • Excite and Delight: Spread joy with your friendly service and inspire customers to read, learn, create, or play with our magical products.
  • Loyalty Ambassador: Help customers craft a Christmas well spent and offer rewards for their loyalty.
  • Merchandising Marvel: Unwrap your creative flair by following our planograms and implementing your own ideas in non-planogrammed spaces.
  • Deliveries: Become a puzzle-master as you manage heavy deliveries, price, and label products, and make sure the stockroom is tidy.
