Residential Children's Home Manager Job Opportunity

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residential Children's Home Manager to join their team in Croydon.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a children's home, ensuring exceptional care and support for young individuals in residence. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards, including The Children's Homes Regulations and Children Act.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the children's home, promoting a therapeutic environment to aid the recovery of young residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal occupancy levels, aligning with business needs and the requirements of young people in placement.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development within the organization, offering support to other service areas when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Ofsted inspections.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in children's residential care.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of children's residential care, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team. A minimum of 2 years' experience in children's residential care is required.
