About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join our team at Cathedral Appointments | South West Recruitment. As a key member of our Dispute Resolution team, you will be responsible for managing a varied litigation caseload and developing a Commercial Litigation practice that aligns with the firm's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, probate, and professional negligence claims
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other teams within the firm
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide seamless and exemplary client service
  • Supervise and support the development of an Associate specializing in Inheritance Disputes work
  • Engage in business development activities to promote your profile and the firm's services

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer who is seeking to take the next step in their career. You will have several years' UK-based post-qualified experience, with the ability to independently manage a varied litigation caseload. You should be technically skilled, confident in handling complex matters, and able to provide clear, commercially appropriate advice to clients.

You will be a strong communicator with a positive approach to developing individuals in their technical skills and confidence. You will also have a positive approach to working collaboratively with other fee earner teams and support colleagues to promote cross-referrals and delivery of exemplary client care.
