Job Title: Press Toolmaker / Die Maintenance Technician

Overview: Theo James Recruitment is seeking an experienced Press Toolmaker / Die Maintenance Technician to join their team in Newcastle. This role offers a competitive salary of £17 per hour, plus 33% shift allowance for nights, and a generous benefits package.

Responsibilities: As a Press Toolmaker / Die Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and optimisation of press tools and dies. You will conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of press tools and dies, and support new tool build and modifications as required.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience as a Press Toolmaker or in die maintenance, strong mechanical skills, and knowledge of tool design and fabrication techniques. You must also have experience working with power presses and understanding of press safety, and excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
