About the Role

Hunter Savage is seeking an experienced Automotive Component Fabricator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment, producing high-quality automotive components. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for making components and spare parts from drawings, carrying out complex machining repairs, and manufacturing EDM electrodes. You will also be required to set up and operate EDM and Wire Erosion machines, as well as use overhead cranes and lifting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual machining and CNC programming, with experience in setting up and operating various machines. They will also have exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong communication skills. Additionally, they will have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, as well as interpret specifications and procedures.

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 per annum, plus shift premium for all shift roles. Requirements:
  • Time-served machinist
  • Experience in all aspects of manual machining
