We are a leading manufacturer of glucose monitoring systems for home and hospital use. Our Global Centre of Excellence for Medical Devices is based in Witney, Oxfordshire, where we produce significant volumes of test strips annually.

Job Summary

This role involves leading on validation requirements to support the transfer of products from R&D to Operations. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or Engineering discipline and prior experience of process Validation (OQ/PQ).

Key Responsibilities
  • Create validation documents including plans, protocols, reports, FMEA, Critical Quality Attribute and Critical Process Parameter derivation.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide process development and characterisation support for new sensor products.
  • Work with various teams to support and execute validation tasks.
  • Support and lead investigations during new product introduction.
Requirements

To be successful, you will need excellent attention to detail skills, a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, the ability to prioritise and manage projects, and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances or new demands. You must also have good communication and inter-personal skills to build relationships with colleagues across the business.

You will be expected to spend time in the manufacturing facility, so will need to have good hands-on practical skills. Good IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint are also required for this role.
