About the Role
The successful candidate will lead a team of staff in delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring that all aspects of care are respectful and sensitive to their needs and those of their carers.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership, supervision, and support to team members, utilizing advanced clinical skills to inform practice and decision-making.
- Lead by example, motivating and empowering others to promote positive attitudes, mutual understanding, and collaboration between services involved in the care process.
- Ensure team activity supports efficient use of resources, in line with allocated budgets, by agreeing and managing pay and non-pay budgets.
- Manage disciplinary, performance, and attendance issues in line with Trust policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Operational Managers and others to recruit and retain staff within the team.
About the Team
The team works in conjunction with Operational Managers, Matron, Clinical Directors, and Professional leads to develop and deliver safe and effective Community Mental Health Services in accordance with Key National targets, Clinical standards, service priorities, and performance indicators set by local commissioners and Trust Policies.
