Job Title: Lecturer in Imperial or Global History

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Imperial or Global History to join our team at the Imperial & Global Forum. The successful candidate will have a strong research profile in Imperial or Global History and be able to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

About the Role:
  • Contribute to teaching and research in Imperial or Global History
  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Supervise independent work at levels 2, 3, and MA
  • Devise and teach Level 2 Option Modules and Level 3 Special Subjects
Requirements:
  • PhD in Imperial or Global History (or near completion)
  • Independent, internationally-recognised research programme in Imperial or Global History
  • Strong record in attracting research funding or potential to attract such funding
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Active and supportive approach to inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research
  • Continuous professional development and ability to engage in it
  • Aptitude to develop familiarity with various strategies to promote and assess learning
