You will work closely with our Depot Transport Manager to drive and deliver results, manage good communications and build strong relationships with suppliers and drivers. A large part of the daily activities will include managing and improving driver behaviours, infringements, and vehicle efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of drivers, ensure they complete their tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage good communications and build strong relationships with suppliers and drivers.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve driver behaviours, infringements, and vehicle efficiencies.
  • Co-ordinate and execute agency and Subco requirements.
  • Ensure all other work declarations, RTWs, and infringements have been communicated with drivers and successfully signed off.
  • Daily checks to ensure all drivers receive a licence check and PPE.
  • Communicate all stored briefs and any special requirements to drivers.
  • Undertake infringement discussions with drivers.
  • Report all vehicle defects and escalate any damage-related defects to the transport manager.

This is a permanent full-time position, with a basic DBS check required.
