About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our data science team, you will contribute to the development of actionable insights and evidence from real-world data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data scientists and epidemiologists to design, plan, develop, and document studies that inform business decisions.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis, programming, and visualization techniques to generate insights from large and diverse data sources.
  • Evaluate data quality and transform, standardize, and aggregate data to create analysis-ready datasets.
  • Develop and maintain code in R and SQL to support data analysis and visualization.
  • Participate in the development of data-driven solutions to support business objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Biostatistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • Experience in managing, analyzing, documenting, and programming comprehensive data.
  • Expertise in classical statistical methods, such as regression analyses and survival analyses.
  • Experience with advanced analytical methods, such as machine learning approaches.
  • Strong programming skills and experience with transforming large datasets.
  • Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods on causal inference and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with git, Linux, and data visualization tools.
