Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Hemel Hempstead and Surrounding Areas

Salary: £17 - £19 per hour (DOE) plus overtime

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (Additional hours paid @ 1.5x)

Job Overview

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a wide range of plant and machinery. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all equipment is in optimal working condition, and you will be expected to perform routine maintenance and repairs, as well as conduct regular servicing according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of plant machinery.
  • Conduct regular servicing of plant equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of parts and tools required for on-site repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role, with a strong background in plant and machinery maintenance.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plant equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • A valid driving license is essential for this role.
