Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Chemist to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating functional surface coatings, adhesives, and inks for various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulation Development: Develop and formulate new coatings, adhesives, and inks with improved performance and functionality.
- Project Management: Coordinate projects from conception to commercial acceptance, providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the product life cycle.
- Raw Material Evaluation: Evaluate raw materials efficiently and select suitable raw chemistries for formulation.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in coating formulation or adhesive development.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of coating formulation, adhesive development, and ink formulation. Excellent communication and project management skills.
