We are a leading veterinary practice proud to be one of the first UK practices to achieve dog-friendly status from the Dogs Trust/BVBA Dog-Friendly Clinic scheme, having already been a fear-free accredited practice.
We offer state-of-the-art facilities enabling us to provide a high standard of care, with separate dog and cat wards, 4 consulting rooms, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, high-quality ultrasound with Doppler, in-house lab, endoscope, optic loop, Tonovet pen, cautery, and laser therapy.
About the RoleThis full-time role involves working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in our busy, independent, family-owned veterinary practice in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team committed to providing high-quality care for clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver high-quality nursing care to patients under the guidance of qualified veterinarians.
- To assist with surgical procedures, administer medication, and perform other clinical tasks as required.
- To maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients.
- To participate in the on-call rota, covering weeknights and weekends (with time off in lieu).
- A degree in veterinary nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- A competitive salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
