About the Role

InHire is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at XXX, a 24-bedded rehabilitation hospital for women in Birmingham. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs, including those with a forensic history.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Provide leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, and occupational therapists
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and transitions for patients
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
