Education Recruitment Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Education Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team in Leeds. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting and recruiting exceptional teaching professionals and support staff for educational institutions across Leeds and the surrounding areas, whilst using your strong business development skills to attract new business and further develop existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage strong relationships with both schools and candidates.
  2. Utilise a variety of recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent within the education sector.
  3. Provide exceptional client service, working to understand the exact needs of schools and offering tailored recruitment solutions.
  4. Work to specific targets and KPIs, with the focus on placing quality candidates and building a sustainable talent pipeline.
  5. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the education sector, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  6. Attend networking events, career fairs, and school functions to increase brand awareness and candidate attraction.
  7. Advise both clients and candidates on industry standards, salary levels, and career opportunities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards within the education and recruitment industries.
  9. Utilise our CRM system to manage candidate data, client information, and track all stages of the recruitment process.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a target-driven role, ideally within the education sector.
  2. Strong business development abilities and a proactive approach to building relationships.
  3. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Familiarity with the UK education system and qualifications would be an advantage.
Benefits:
  1. Extremely competitive basic salary - £26k to £35k depending on experience.
  2. Work from home options after initial training period.
  3. Shift pattern working hours 7-4 or 9-6 in term time, Monday to Friday.
  4. Reduced working hours during school holidays.
  5. Late start/early finish every Friday during term time.
  6. 90 Minute lunch break once a week.
