Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEO Specialist to drive our SEO initiatives and boost revenue and visits to our website. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you'll work closely with our SEO Consultant to disseminate SEO knowledge across the business, ensure our website adheres to Google's best practices, and create content plans that will help our products and deals show up to our prospective customers in Google.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and promote SEO pages to improve search engine rankings
  • Work with the content team to commission content and updates to content from the content teams
  • Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to make on-page optimisations
  • Support in managing junior team members
  • Work with the PR and marketing teams to ensure their efforts are in line with the SEO strategy
  • Work with the Product and Technical teams to drive through technical SEO improvements
  • Perform link audits and submit disavow files to Google
  • Support in communicating any SEO guidelines to the wider business
  • Field SEO questions from the wider business, and ensure any changes to the website will not negatively impact SEO (with the support of the SEO consultant)

Requirements

  • Experience working with content for a digital audience and/or a strong understanding of what makes a good piece of content for a user
  • At least 6 months experience in an in-house SEO role - or a passion for SEO and the ability to pick things up extremely quickly
  • A self-starter who uses initiative and can work independently
  • Data and analytically minded - able to take actionable insights from data
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adheres to tight deadlines
  • A desire to learn and upskill themselves in all things SEO
  • A confident communicator who can work with various senior members of the business
  • Excellent written skills, a keen eye for detail with perfect grammar
  • Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
  • Experience using SEO and Analytics tools, such as SEM Rush, Google Trends, Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics is a plus
