We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Manager to join our team at Marshall Group. As a key member of our CORE management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and environmental integrity of our defence projects.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain project Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS) in accordance with MOD Acquisition Safety and Environmental Management System (ASEMS) and defence regulations.
- Provide safety and environmental advice and assurance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development and implementation of safety and environmental plans, assessments, and reports.
- Conduct safety and environmental audits and investigations, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with defence standards, regulations, and legislation.
- Proven experience in safety and environmental management, particularly in the defence sector.
- Knowledge of MOD Acquisition Safety and Environmental Management System (ASEMS) and defence regulations.
- Ability to lead and manage teams, and provide safety and environmental advice and assurance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and e-Cassandra.
