Scientific Research Associate

Undisclosed is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to fill a 12-month contract position in Irvine.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses, including sampling, testing, and reporting of results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve business objectives.
- Identify and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities to minimize waste and risk.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Analytical Science or related field.
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting.
- Technical knowledge of HPLC, GC, IR, UV, Karl Fischer, and spectroscopic analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Estimated Salary:£23,600 - £26,560 per annum
