Key Responsibilities- Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting of all areas of the factory, as part of a team.
- Perform deep cleaning of large machinery and equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work in various environments, including chilled and hot areas, and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Complete paperwork and documentation to record cleaning activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive health and safety culture within the workplace, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Use and store chemicals safely, following established procedures and guidelines.
- Identify and report any damaged equipment or machinery to the maintenance team.
- No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and education will be provided.
- A basic understanding of English, both verbal and written, is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is an advantage, but not required.
- Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP procedures is highly desirable, but not necessary.
