Mathematics Educator

Step Teachers is currently seeking a Mathematics Educator for a long-term supply position in a college in Oxfordshire. This role is initially full-time, reducing to part-time after the October half term until the end of December.

Maths Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum for GCSE within a Further Education setting
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Compliance with the school's policies and reliable implementation of these
Requirements of a Maths Teacher:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in a Further Education Setting
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Maths Teacher
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant Maths-related degree is desirable
- SEND experience is desirable
