Our Indirect Tax practice is one of the leading teams in the UK, with 19 Partners and approximately 200 professionals providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax, including VAT, Customs Duty, and Environmental Taxes. We work with a broad range of business sectors, including large multi-nationals, household name retailers, and public sector organizations.
Within our National Markets Indirect Tax team, we have specialists in sectors such as Retail, Supply Chain, and International Trade, FS, Public Sector, Leisure, and Travel. Our clients range from large organizations and corporates to smaller fast-growing businesses. We deliver value and support to our portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager in our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality Indirect Tax advisory services to a range of corporate clients;
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients;
- Developing innovative solutions and opportunities for our clients;
- Implementing business development initiatives;
- Providing sales support and developing key B2B and B2C client relationships;
- Developing more junior members of the team from a technical and commercial perspective;
- Working closely with directors and partners to support your growth and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience of UK Indirect Taxes;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues;
