We are seeking an exceptional Psychologist to join our team at the University of Stirling. As a key member of our Division, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of autism research and education.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our MSc in Autism Research and supervise undergraduate and MSc dissertations in this area. You will work closely with our dedicated team to advance our understanding of autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, teach, and assess a range of teaching and learning activities across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
  • Contribute to curriculum review and enhancement, ensuring a research-led approach to student learning.
  • Participate in the Faculty's international engagement activities, delivering teaching and contributing to joint programmes.
  • Supervise research students and staff, providing direction, support, and guidance.
  • Identify and secure external research funding, managing grants awarded.
  • Engage in individual and collaborative research, disseminating results through publications and conference proceedings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline.
  • An established track record of high-quality published research.
  • Experience of supervising dissertation projects and doctoral students.
  • Experience of designing and delivering course modules.
  • Excellent teaching and supervision skills, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality student learning experiences.
