Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Architectural Assistant to join our team in Reading. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, reports, and concepts, as well as formulate and communicate briefs to colleagues. Experience with planning applications, Building Regulations, and appeals is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of architectural drawings, reports, and concepts from RIBA Stages 1-5
  • Formulate and communicate briefs to colleagues
  • Carry out studies and design proposals for review
  • Assist with planning applications, Building Regulations, and appeals
Requirements
  • Architecture degree with Arb (UK Architectural Registration Board) Part 2 accreditation or recognised degree
  • Post Part 2 experience in a UK-based office
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and their application
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit software, with ideal proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits may include opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
